More About CVR

Central Vermont Runners is a non-profit corporation, founded in 1980 to serve the needs of all runners in the Central Vermont area. It welcomes runners of all ages and abilities, including beginners, recreational runners and those a bit more serious. The organization exists to meet the needs of its members, and sponsors a variety of activities throughout the year.

For many years, CVR provided scholarship grants to deserving students in the Central Vermont area, and since 1996 the club has organized a kids' track meet for ages 4 to middle school age.

Meetings are held on a regular basis, and a periodic newsletter is published several times each year, containing news about the club and its members, as well as providing information and results on club and area races.
